Adam Larson proves that youre never too busy for an online MBA. While Adam was completing his degree at University of Phoenix, he was also working full-time, raising a newborn, and serving as a full-time minister. Because he was enrolled in the online MBA program, Adam could do his homework at night after the baby was asleep and the days work was done. With the support of his family, Adam graduated from the online MBA program with a very high GPA. See if an online MBA is right for you at http://www.phoenix.edu/information/online-mba-aspx

I have a two year experience and I want to go for a MS in Computer Science in Spring 2009. By that time I will have about 3 years of experience. What is scope of an MS degree via distance learning from some US university? Will I be eligible for campus placements? Is it treated on par with regular course?
Actually I am considering distance education because of financial issues. Please give your suggestions. Thanks.
Distance learning is not as favored as the traditional method. However, if you go that route, opt for a well-known school with a good reputation and get high high marks.
carries the same weight as one earned in lecture halls? I am a nursing student, and will have completed my Associates degree when I get my RN. I would like to keep going to school but will also have to start working. Is an online university a good choice or would it look bad in the medical field??
The University of Phoenix is NOT the only accredrited online university, it is simply the largest. If you go online make sure the school is regionally accredited. Now, to answer your question. Online learning has become much more respected in the past five - ten years, however there are still some employers who look down upon it. It's really just going to depend on the hospital. If you want to seek some reassurance, call the HR department at some hospitals you would like to work at one day and ask them! Many more traditional schools (older private and state institutions) now offer online porgrams as well. That may help with the prestige factor.

I am graduate and doing job.As such,I want to pursue MBA course under distance learning programs from the best university.
There is no way to combine the terms MBA, distance learning, and repute in the same sentence with accuracy. In order to get the appropraite training as an MBA, you MUST be physically present. A large part of MBA training is working as a team and learning to present yourself and your ideas to clients and coworkers. You can't do that on the internet or through the mail.
